edskinnerphotos.com: About Me

Growing up in the 50's and 60's during the prime time of "Life" magazine, and in growing up with "Sports Illustrated", this started my interest in photography. I've always thought there wouldn't be a better job someone could have. I didn't really start taking photographs until college at the University of Miami in the early 70's. I bought my first Nikon, a used Nikkormat with 50mm f1.4 lens during that time. Having one lens with a manual camera taught me quite a bit about exposure and having to work to get the shot. I'm still using Nikon cameras, and my main camera now is a Nikon D300. I also now have a little more choice in lenses. I live in Sterling, CT with my girlfriend Jennifer and a multitude of animals. Currently there is one horses, a donkey, a goats, and two dogs. The number of animals is subject to change at any time. If you're interested in what I'm doing with photography, and any shows I'll be attending, please sign up for my mailing list.
